I saw this a couple days ago on twitter (or face book, I don't remember which). I thought I'd ask if anyone has taken the plunge or would be interested.

From what I can gather from the website. You put some computer readable dots on the erg seat, handle and frame and take a video of yourself at race pace. You send it to them and they do a computer assisted analysis of your stroke and make recommendations for improvements. All for the bargain price of 50 euros.
I'd be interested in opinions about it.

Re: Technique Analysis
That kind of thing is aimed at people like me! I might look into it if I can get some quiet time to sort out the markers and the recording. I'll let you know how I get on - happy to be the guinea pig on this one.

Re: Technique Analysis
I checked their site and the people behind it are real and known in the (small) world of Dutch rowing. I wouldn't be afraid to try it out. The guy behind the service is a former race rower and active Masters rower.
I guess we can give you the same tips based on observing your videos, but there is value in having an "independent" report and some quantification around it.
So I wouldn't be afraid to give it a try.

Re: Technique Analysis
Maybe I'll give it a go after the crash-bs. Right now I'm in a groove, and I don't want to go back to working on technique stuff. I think I will ask them if I can submit video of me rowing on slides. They have instructions for static and dynamic, but not for slides.
