BRIC 2015

Post by Paul Victory »

As you may know, BRIC (British Rowing Indoor Championships) takes place in Lee Valley VeloPark, London on 8 February 2015. Registration is currently open and costs an eye watering £32.50 for early bird registration until 18 December 2014. After that, it goes up to £36 (I think - possibly £40?).

They got a lot of negative feedback to the price hike and they are currently offering a 20% discount for group bookings of 10 or more people. Paul Buchanan (who many of you may know) is trying to get them to accept the Concept2 Logbook group on FaceBook as a group for the purpose of applying the 20% discount. He is trying to get as many 'likes' as possible for this on the following link https://www.facebook.com/BritishRowing/ ... 2370768491

If you're interested in going or even if you just want to help other ergers get a discount on their entry fee, please click on the link and 'like' the post.

Thanks
Paul V

Bah! I've already entered. £32.50 is indeed eye watering. Thats about the same as most sportive bike events, and you get a t shirt and lots of energy bars/gels/bananas for that - as well as the normal event needs. So there'd better at least be a t shirt for the price at the BRICs!
