Historical SB's and PB's

Post by plummy »

Just for fun I thought I'd look back at every season since I started rowing and pull together all of the SB's from either my logbook or the Nonathlon and mark up the PB's along the way (in red etxt) for all distances and times. This gives me a handy reference for them and also gives me a quick overview of trends (most often backwards) against certain ones.

It's pretty clear when I peaked for the majority of times/distances!

Very interesting summary plummy. I think most of us have had a season or so when we were doing our best times. You made a big leap forward in 2007/8 and then maintained similar times for most distances in subsequent years, although you've slowed down a bit in the last couple of years. There was probably a trade off against some of the ultra distance challenges you did and those achievements far outweigh knocking a second or two off your PB pace over the various ranking distances.

I notice that your predilection for round numbers in terms of annual totals has become more extreme as time has gone on. I await a 10,000,000 season with some trepidation!

Hi David.

I think you did the 100,000m in season 2009 (June 7th. 2008, 5 days after I did mine) !

And you might check up on you time on the 1,000,000m row!
