Weight Adjusted 2k

Post by Mike Channin »

Here's something a bit different for you all to try.

A weight adjusted challenge using the latest version of the C2 weight adjustment tool:

http://www.concept2.com/05/training/com ... ht_adj.asp

Simply enter your weight, 2k time and put 2000 meters in the box. Then enter the adjusted time that comes up (the one in red).

e.g. my unadjusted time was 7:09.8 - 85kg -> gives 6:36.3. (I feel faster already :D )

And good luck to Tricia!

Weight = 132 Kg
Weight factor = 1.017 :oops:

6:32.6 -> 6:39.2

Thanks Mike :cry:

Good incentive to get down to 122.5 Kg (19.2 stone) though (which is the neutral amount) . Hopefully the marathons will do there job

Stan, post it! Enjoy. And then go beat it.
John, post it! Enjoy. And then go beat it!

John: Thought this would be a good inspiration for us all to drop a bit of weight while keeping in trim. And anyway, your adjusted time is only just slower than mine, so all the more reason to improve that 2k...
