ELM Challlenge Cleanup - Moves
All,
I've started moving some of my "silly" (or non-standard!) challenges across to Free Spirits Fun league. We wanted to tidy up the Free Spirits main league - so this is my contribution!
So far I have moved Lotto, but would also like to move others.
Twentypede has been created on Fun, so if you have already posted a result for it, please post on Fun as well - then I can remove the original one.
Are there any others you would like moved?
Mike - I think there are still a couple of yours that could be moved to Free Spirits Extreme as well.
We should be left with a simpler Free Spirits Main League if we prune it a bit.
That OK?

OK. I've moved all the extreme challenges over into the Extreme League, plus created a set of new ones for people to try.
Some are total distance related, like the Tour De France one Stan liked because it would push him to row further. I've changed the rules slightly to make the scores make more sense (I hope.)
Some are extreme events (Nijmegen, Dodentocht, Marathon Des Sables)
Some are the extreme end of the normal events (HM, FM, 50k)
Maybe we could do with some like the 7 days or 24 hours ones set in the main League.
My idea for this league is for things to be open long term (mostly all season) so people have plenty of time to do them.
This ok with everyone else?

No - probably me that's written it down wrong. Should be minus days from start of season, so that the later you complete, the lower the overall score. I'll go fix it.
Aside from this minor screw up, does the general concept work ok?

OK - have now reworded the Distance Challenges rules - thanks to Thomas for pointing out the previous balls-up.
The idea is that the sooner someone reaches the given distance, the higher their score. Apologies to those who may have to look back in their logbooks to work out when they passed the first one at around 1.4 million. But think of the points you'll get!
Also, all those who've had PBs on the HM recently, there's now a HM board under extreme too (as most people would consider a HM extreme) so go enter those times and get your points...
