A classic in return:

"You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? Then who the hell else are you talkin' to? You talkin' to me? Well I'm the only one here."

Thank you Ian.

It doesn't look as if we are going anywhere with this. A dud. #-o

I think I had better call it a day ... but first, a few more clues.

A 1994 American black comedy-crime film directed by Woody Allen.

The young playwright ( actor, John Cusack ) says, Suddenly I'm taking suggestions from some strong-arm man ( gangster's girlfriend's bodyguard ) with an IQ of minus 50.

The film was Bullets Over Broadway

Better luck with this one perhaps:

A: How do you react when someone says, " Boss, you're doing it all wrong? "

B: Well, I ask him how ' he ' thinks it ought to be done. And then we get down to it and we talk about it for twenty minutes and then we decide that I was right.

Clue time again, although I am surprised that the quote didn't ring any bells or should I say ' balls ' with anyone.

I wouldn't say that I was the best manager in the country. But I'm in the top one.

That's the Brian Clough quote. I think the film was something like "The Damned United" or "That Damned United". Strangely - our FS friend Odd Geir Aarrestad was a Leeds United fan if I remember correctly.

Right first time Plummy, =D> the film was The Damned United.

For some strange reason, ( I'm not a closet Leeds United fan - if my life depended on it, then it would have to be Pompey  ) I watched the film recently on BBC iPlayer and to my surprise, enjoyed it.

I've passed the ball to you now.

A: You'd like to kill me? Bet you would.

B: I wouldn't like to kill you. I will if I have to.

A: It's your job, right? The guy who kills me... I hope he does it because he hates my guts, not because it's his job.

(Mid 70's movie)

Thanks plummy.

A: What is true love?
B: True love is your soul's recognition of its counterpoint in another.
A: It's a little cheesy but I like it.
B: I read it on a bumper sticker!

I think another clue is needed.

A: Okay, what's our back story?
B: We're brothers from New Hampshire. We're venture capitalists.
A: I'm sick of that. Let's be from Vermont. And let's have an emerging maple syrup conglomerate.
B: Wait, that's stupid. We don't know anything about maple syrup.

Mid noughties comedy.

Final clue before I give up and post the answer.

You picked her up at a funeral?? Chazz I respect you and think you're an innovator but I'm just not ready for that.

I'll jump in then...

"What is this thing? I mean, it serves no useful purpose for there to be a bunch of chompy, crushy things in the middle of a hallway."

Nice try - but no. Ghostbusters isn't really sci-fi.

Big clue - Sigourney Weaver stars...
