Is that a line from the movie or the name of the movie?

If it's a line, I guess it could be from Rocky?

It is a (very short) line from a movie, but not from Rocky.

The next short line is "Outta nowhere. "

A bit too obvious, but is it from Cinderella Man?

I'm guessing it's some kind of sports based movie, but I don't think it's one I've seen.

Yes, it is a sports related movie.

Here is the full quote.

"Cinderella story. Outta nowhere. A former greenskeeper, now, about to become the Masters champion. It looks like a mirac... It's in the hole! It's in the hole! It's in the hole!"

I believe this is one of the funniest movie made and I can watch it over and over and still laugh at the same scenes.

Ann & I both said "oh, sure, that was ..... was..... was.... . Come on, we know that, it was ...."

I will spare you the rest of our "thinking" #-o !

This morning we were speaking with a friend who quoted another movie, so we asked him about this quote. He said "oh, sure, that was .....", but then said "Cool Hand Luke", it was Brother Martin who said it.

Since Bill is not a Free Spirit, if he is correct, do I get his turn?

I know I know it, but I just can't place it. Actually I think I might have it - The Unforgiven, starring Clint Eastwood?

Your other reference had me stumped for a while, but then I remembered it "My mother thanks you, my father thanks you, my sister thanks you and I thank you." James Cagney as George M Cohan in Yankee Doodle Dandy. I know that's not the real question, but it was another back of the mind job that was annoying me.
