Thank strider, I concentrated properly and it all came good. Taking a break now before hitting season 5.

Started on Game of Thrones - into Season 1 now. Good stuff so far. Really shouldn't be my thing, but it is surprisingly gripping.

Anyone not seen Dexter should give it a go. Season 4 is probably the best TV I have ever seen, but you need to start at the beginning to get the context.

Started on Sopranos a week or so back and while I can see the appeal, I wasn't gripped after 6 or so episodes so I took a break.

Don't know if it's been mentioned but House of Cards - US remake of the original English TV series.

Spacey is just immense in this.

Update from me...

Breaking Bad - done with the first half of Season 5 and then the episodes ran out! Have to have patience - will buy in 2/3 weeks. Needless to say, superb!

Game of Thrones - finished Season 1 and will more more seasons shortly. Very good.

House of Cards - watching S1 E1 now - some work to be done.

Anyone have any insight into: World without End; Utopia; Boss; Mr Selfridge; White Collar; Generation Kill. I have all Season 1 of them all, but not sure which one to start first.

A few others:

Homeland - Season 1 was amazing but next 2 couldn't keep up the standard. If you've not seen it, watch it.

Boardwalk Empire anyone?

Liked Episodes - anyone seen Season 2?

One from left field - anyone ever watch Men of a Certain Age? I bought Season 1 and loved it, but never managed to buy Season 2. Was with Ray Romano and the guy from Quantum Leap. Worth watching.

I have series 1 of Boardwalk Empire recorded on Sky but I'm yet to watch an episode. Steve Buscemi is normally pretty good.

I've just received Breaking Bad Series 1 on DVD so will start that soon.

Dave I can heartly recommend Series 1 of Boardwalk Empire, Steve Buscemi is a hero of mine and also played one of the main characters in The Sopranos and was also very very funny in the opening scenes of Desperado.

Don't be put off by the slow start in Breaking Bad, it took me a while to get into it.

I am deliberately slowing down with BB as have finished 3 Episodes of the Final Series, only 5 left to go so watching them at a more reasonable rate, will maybe watch one or two episodes this weekend.

Almost at the end of season 4 of BB now. Season 4 was another slow burner but its really exploding now - episodes 10 and 11 were absolute crackers.
What the hell am I going to do when I finish this?

There are 16 episodes in Season 5 - was split into 2 parts of 8. I have done the first 8 and now waiting for the second 8.

Looking forward to Game of Thrones next

Season 5 BB now complete - best season of them all. Absolutely brilliant - going to miss it and will probably watch it again sometime.
Trying to find something else now. Dexter? Warehouse 13?

Glad you enjoyed it Stan, I saw the last two episodes of the Final Season this weekend, really enjoyed them and now have withdrawal symptoms

Will probably watch the whole thing again in a year's time, it was addictive, about on a par with my all time favourite The Sopranos

Off to get the first 3 series of Game of Thrones next :D

That's about how I felt about season 1 Plummy - had my attention but not exactly the most exciting thing ever. Don't worry it just gets better and better.

I have to agree with Stan Dave.

Stick with it, its a slow burner I was not that riveted in Series one, it cranks up and as Stan has said it just gets better and better.

Anthony Hopkins wrote to Bryan Cranston (Walter White) after watching the whole series in about 2 weeks and said it was the best acting he had ever seen in his life, praise indeed from a guy who can act a bit himself :D

Wrapped up BB yesterday and have to say it was superb. Great final episode that did it justice. Dexter still rates No 1 for me, but only because it was with me longer.

Bought GoT Seasons 2 & 3 too, so will get back into them seen.

Also Homeland 3 - saw some of them when they were shown on TV - lost its way a bit I think, but will give it a chance.

Disappointed not to find Boss 2 or the second half of Entourage 3.

Got a present of the first two series of Sherlock from my son for my recent birthday. If I don't get around to watching them this week, I may bring them over to Alvor with me next Saturday.

Anyone into American comedy should look at Entourage. Very easy to watch and short, funny episodes. Started season 4 today and about to finish it.

Start at S1 though, easy to get into and 8 seasons and a movie to keep you going.

I am missing BB already, the final episode was excellent, much better than the " What the f***" ? " ending in The Sopranos may watch the whole Box Set again maybe at Christmas, which I did with The Sopranos

Started Season 1 of Game of Thrones, am 2 episodes in I had seen the first 3 episodes on TV some time ago so nothing new yet, will continue at the weekend.

Definitely interested in watching Boss, Frasier was one of my favourite shows, Kelsey Grammar is a fine comic actor.
