#3 is Frankie goes to Hollywood
I can’t think of her surname (Warnes maybe?), and this is becoming a general theme lately that I might need to get checked!,

Easy enough mistake to make. My post was at the bottom of one page, Paul’s was at the top of the next page. I’ve done something similar a few times myself.
Well remembered on FGTH, partial points for the Jennifer Rush one.

Paul, I'll start the ball rolling with
The Power of Love by Huey Lewis for song number one.
There's something familiar about song number two but I cannot place it at the moment.
No idea about song number three.
Just a quick reminder that it’s your turn to put one up.

Don't worry Steve, it sounds as if you are suffering from Lockdown forgetfulness/brain fog, or as I call it ' mashed potato brain '. Nothing to worry about but if you are concerned, there are plenty of articles on line about the subject.
Well done though to you and Paul G for knowing the other two artists.

More clues - this is the chorus.
I gotta know tonight
If you're alone tonight
Can't stop this feeling
Can't stop this fire
British group - a very hard of hearing panthera pardus.

Ok - so it's got to be Def Leppard. I can only think of two songs and they are "Animal" and "Pour some sugar on me" - but I can't match them to the words as I just don't know them.

The only things I know about Def Leppard are that their lead singer is Joe Elliott and they come from Sheffield. And I’ve no idea how I know that. But I couldn’t name a single song by them and I kinda doubt I would recognise one if I heard it. I’m not even sure what genre - maybe heavy metal or prog rock?

And their drummer only has one arm - pretty good band live - saw them back in the 90s in Cape Town

Plummy and Paul G you are both correct, about the group being Def Leppard. The song is Hysteria.
I won't put up another song - as Plummy came up first with the group name, perhaps he would like to take the next turn? If not, then please sort something out amongst yourselves.
Yes, Paul G, I have always admired the drummer's ( with his adapted drum kit ) ' can do ' attitude.

Getting tougher to find something not used but charted on both sides of the pond. Let's try this:
That behind every great man
There had to be a great woman

I don't think that this song ( and I'm surprised about that ) has come up before.

Early 90's - did well in other countries but not the USA (sorry, you guys might have to sit this one out):
We climb the highest mountain
We'll make the desert bloom
We're so ingenious
We can walk on the moon
