Hopefully, it is there. The song charted in the UK; it was a hit in the US and an even bigger hit in Canada. Not bad for a singer from England.

Wolfie, I thought Valerie was by The Zutons (and also recorded by Amy Winehouse)? I remember a song by Stevie Winwood, but I always thought he was singing Follow Me not Valerie.

No Paul, it was definitely Valerie, a different song to the Zutons one.
The only other SW song I know is Higher Love, but the lyrics don’t fit in my head...

Yes, I kinda figured that out. Just saying that his diction was not 100% clear. And I'm not making that up - I genuinely thought he was singing follow me.

Very good album from 1980 - Arc of a Diver.
He supported Clapton at Hyde Park about 5 yrs ago, he was very good. Great back catalog going back a LONG way... Brummie too I think
