Sorry Ron and Steve, whatever it is that you are both sprinkling on your muesli, it’s not producing the right vibes. :fswink:

Beginning of first verse:

I've got to take a little time
A little time to think things over

British/American rock band formed in 1976. This single topped the UK and USA charts in November 1984.

They may have muesli on this cruise ship, but I never looked. BTW, don't tell Plummy that this ship is even smaller than the ones he dismissed as "not real" previously.

Peter and Paul, having looked at both of your replies, in fairness, I must give this to Paul, as he has come up with the correct song title =D> and not just part of the lyrics. In my life there has been heartache and pain

Peter, on the other matter, my lips are 🤐 :fswink:

Again? I thought I’d searched the thread before posting it.

Anyway, you’re right, so it’s your turn to put one up.

Sorry Paul, I thought it had been used before, but I am wrong.

Now, an oldie, but one that has been covered in the UK and used in various films.

The Great Pretender (I knew I knew it earlier but couldn't place it). Plonk Freddie Mercury's voice in there and it's clear as day

Plummy to the rescue! Thank you. I had the original by the Platters in mind.

It is 12:07 AM here off the coast of Africa, so this is the first post on my Birthday.

Thank you Paul, the second line has rung some bells: It's Over ( Roy Orbison ). My dad was a fan.

Just in case I confused anyone with my last post, the above line came before the other two I posted. It's still It's Over and it's still Jill's turn to post another line or two.
