I know I'm breaking my own rule, but that's such a great line that I had to google it.billwright wrote:"Wish I had a swing like that in my back yard!"

I managed to find the name of the song, but could not find it on either YouTube or iTunes. I did get to hear "Should've asked her faster". I never would have pegged you as a country music fan.

Re: Name that tune
I was confused until I watched the video. I think that line at the end was inspired by "A Swing Like That" by Ty England. Not a direct quote, but if you read the lyrics, you'll see what I mean. Or maybe it was the other way around - he saw that video and used it as the basis for a song?billwright wrote:Dolly Parton & crew "Romeo"

Anyway, that was too easy. How about trying something a bit more challenging?

Re: Name that tune
Having just returned from Alvor where I spent (as usual) quite some time with a microphone in my hand, I'm going to continue hogging this thread by quoting from one of my favourite karaoke songs.

OK, if that was too tough (I tried to pick an obscure line from a well known song), how about this one:
When the Jester sang for the king and queen in a coat he borrowed from James Dean

Totally new experience for me, I'm afraid. Not at all bad, though. I'd say he could grow on me.

Yep. That's it.
"...in all that time I still don't know what you mean."
It's floating around in my head. Give me a day, it'll come to me.
EDIT - Billy Joel -- getting closer.
EDIT - "Big Shot" ?
