Hi Paul

I presume that was prompted by Ireland's Grand Slam triumph on Saturday? I would need to be very sound asleep not to recognise The Fields of Athenry.

Indeed - that one was especially for you :D :D - take your pick as to who the artist was - I like the Dropkick Murphy's version in particular.

Absolutely no idea but I heard the Dropkicks at Boston Bruins on New Years Eve.

Not the band but just the song - still pretty good though.

Time for another line ... the first was a middle verse ... so here's the give away first line of the song...

"Dirty old river, must you keep rolling"...

Paul, I'm not sure that commuters who have to travel on South West trains, will always view Waterloo ( station ) as paradise. :x  :fswink:

Steve, you do know and like this group, especially the lyrics to one of their ( not this one ) songs.

The other song by Rush was The Trees but you decided that the lyrics were probably too obscure.

Next one ... well known song, but perhaps not quite so well known lyrics?
