Jill not mean at all - all yours fair & square.
All I could think of was "is it raining with you." The actual title would have taken another day at least.

Re: Name that tune
Thank you Jan and Barbara.
I've had trouble trying to think of a song - nose stuck in the CD cabinet for a while but in the end came up with this.
' They say that all in love is fair
Yeah but you don't care '
It's unusual for me to know the title straight away - unless of course I ask Richard but in this case it's on my rowing iPod.CamiCrew wrote:All I could think of was "is it raining with you." The actual title would have taken another day at least.

Jan, this time pick something I have at least heard of, even if I can not identify it!
Any way, Zoot was right.

Zoot was almost right. Actual lyrics are "blah, blah, blah, blah, down in New Orleans"

I have always thought that "pumped a lot of pain" makes more sense than "pumped a lot of 'tane".CamiCrew wrote:Actual lyrics are "blah, blah, blah, blah, down in New Orleans"

Re: Name that tune
OK so I missed a "blah". Peter I hear pain, or what they say is "pane" for propane but I don't hear tane except in the Ike & Tina version.
Jan is off photographing lions and fantastic vistas and sipping wine but will hopefully check in soon.

Haven't seen any lions for a while now, but was out sipping wine this afternoon (with my private chauffeur Sheena )
For a bit of a change, this is from one of my least favourite songs:
If I can see it, then I can do it
If I just believe it, there's nothing to it

Re: Name that tune
This song was a major hit in the late 90s. Although the lyrics seem to be optimistic, the way the artist is singing them always makes me feel that he's terminally depressed...
