Thanks Jan. OK, a nice easy one - easy if you know it, that is.

Paul, many things are easy if you have friends to help you. For example, I get by With A Little Help From My Friends!Paul Victory wrote:a nice easy one - easy if you know it, that is.

Paul, what too you so long? We thought this was right in your karaoke sweet spot.

Is 4 minutes a record?
I will try the one that stumped Ann on my next turn.
Your turn now Paul.

It's ' The Sunshine Of Your Love ' . The version I'm thinking of is by Cream.

Thank you Tom.
I'm on my hols at the moment - Vancouver Island. It's most unlikely that I'll bump into the singer of this song ... But then again, you never know ...
When the morning breaks
We go out separate ways
If the night was made for love it ain't for keeps
Let's see who can break Paul's 4 minute record.

Re: Name that tune
Some clues to help.
Male singer: not Neil Young, Michael Buble or Justin Bieber.
First three lines of the first verse:
You're the silent type
And you caught my eye
But I never thought that I'd be touching you

Re: Name that tune
As the singers you mention are all Canadian, I presume it's someone like Bryan Adams. If it is him, I haven't a clue as the only songs I can remember that he recorded are Everything I Do (I Do It For You) and Summer of 69 and I'm pretty sure it's neither of those.

Re: Name that tune
Paul, it's One Night Love Affair by Bryan Adams.
Apologies, thought that everyone would know it.
As any available Wi-fI is going to be unreliable for a while, then please take the next turn Paul.

Just because I didn't know it doesn't mean other people wouldn't.
I think you should have another go.
