Mind you, I do use the ipod primarily to listen to podcasts, and have only 197 songs loaded
In case it's of interest to anyone - only 3 "artists" beginning with F on the podcast front too, all under the "comedy" genre; Frank Skinner, Friday Night Comedy and Fighting Talk. Each an entertaining distraction through any low intensity row
53, 6'2" and trying to get back to 95kg post hip replacement. Looking back fondly on past achievements I've no chance of repeating

Re: iPod bingo
Just had a look at "F". Most popular in order are:
The Fall - one of my favourite bands at the moment. Definitely not easy listening.
Felt - good jingly jangly indie music
Frazier Chorus
The Flaming Lips
The Farm
Front 242
Funkadelic
F*** Buttons
Freestylers
Future Islands
Freelance Whales
The Fratellis
Franz Ferdinand
Faith No More

Re: iPod bingo
Gregor, I'd agree on The Fall. I like to think that I have catholic tastes but I have to be in the right mood for The Fall.
The Fratellis have made 2 good songs. Franz Ferdinand ? Just don't get them at all and can't say that I like them much.
The other bands I'll have a listen to.
Let's try the 10th album starting with R
Red, Yellow and Blue - Born Ruffians

Re: iPod bingo
I can't really disagree with that. That's the reason they are so low down my list. I seem to have a few bands in my iTunes collection that I don't really like or play much, just need some time so sort the wheat from the chaff and bin a few.webberg wrote:The Fratellis have made 2 good songs. Re: iPod bingo
You can run a program against your iTunes and see which tunes were played most frequently and which not at all. Ditch 5% of the "not at all" part
