A helping hand or an agony aunt?

Post by webberg »

I was reading the post from Mr Jain (Shrek) and got to thinking.

We are all of us rowers and most of us, most of the time, enjoy it and it gives us some common ground.

We are also however a group of 350 (ish) relatively intelligent people (at least bright enough to know that regular exercise is good for you) and I suspect that we have jobs/interests that could be useful to other people.

Would it be a useful thing to have a place where anybody who wishes to can indicate what they do, what they have some knowledge of or would be willing to help with?

It would have to be understood that any advice or help given is voluntary and cannot be relied upon and importantly cannot lead to any form of liability.

If enough people indicate a willingness, we can set up a "sticky" header in one of the forums.
