Re: Rugby World Cup
Heading out back to burn off some of the frustration. I've been up 5 and a half hours already and I'm sorry I didn't just have a lie on. I don't even feel like exercising now, but it's too early to get drunk!

Very good game - disappointed but not surprised when PDV(the idiot) started once again without Bismarck and Hougaard!!!!!kirbyt wrote:Wallabies really stole that one. Pocock was amazing. What a great game anyway.

Re: Rugby World Cup
The 4 best sides on the day went through. (Well, Australia deserved it anyway).
At this stage I can only see Wales having any chance agains the All Blacks, so good luck to em if they get past the semi.
I don't see good Aussie defence winning another game, and Wales have more flair than France. They are the form team.

Re: Rugby World Cup
Allblacks vs. France in the final. Go Blacks! They already won 37-17 against the French in the pool stage so the whole thing seems a little anti-climactic but France seem to be pulling wins out of nowhere so I guess you never know...

Re: Rugby World Cup
Phew I am glad thats over...France definitely turned up to play on Sunday and made a great final, ABs were disciplined under fire and used up nearlt their reserves, the French were unlucky not to win,....New Zealand is buzzing, great competition.

Re: Rugby World Cup
Not the World Cup, but great to see Connacht pick up their first win in the European Cup.

Re: Rugby World Cup
Huge shock really, especially as Gloucester beat Toulouse to help Harlequins.
What team did Quins put out?

Re: Rugby World Cup
I think it was pretty much a full strength team. Conor O'Shea would be too familiar with Connacht to underestimate them.Wolfmiester wrote:Huge shock really, especially as Gloucester beat Toulouse to help Harlequins.
