Cricket tragic thread

Post by Thomas W-P »

Yes, I am one, and I have been overcome by how dominant England are. I have been struck dumb in recent weeks by my elder daughters (9 and 11) becoming interested. We tried and failed to get in to Lords, but managed to get to the Oval on Monday. They really enjoyed themselves and my 9 year old has been wearing her England kit all week. Frightening. Then to cap it all my 5 year old announced that she wanted to do some rowing and rowed 1000m! I waited about 25 years to be at a Test match when England won. My daughters got it at the first attempt...
