I have been trying to post a reply with a file attachment, but keep getting the following error message:
Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached.
What needs to be done, and by whom?

Re: Attachment problem
Not seen that one before - definitely sounds like a Thomas WP question to me

Re: Attachment problem
I had that exact one a few days back. It appears that we have a limit in the number of attachments we can post. You can see the number posted in User Control Panel - and "Manage Attachments" in the "Overview Tab". By deleting a couple of previous ones, I was able to insert a new attachment, but that means that the one deleted disappears from that post
The maximum appeared to be 10 attachments for me (though it may be related to file size), but I can't imagine it has always been so, as I know some people post attached FBA/Rowpro reports regularly
Hopefully Thomas can clear this one up for us

Re: Attachment problem
I got a message back from Thomas yesterday, confirming that the problem should now be resolved;
Thanks ThomasThomas W-P wrote:I have had a look at the settings. There is 50MB for the whole forum, and I have upped that to 100MB, there is also a 256k (upped to 512) limit on attachments, and a maximum of three per post (not touched).
Let me know if this fixes things.
Thomas
