Yes, they played well - dominated in fact.

Not sure about all types of English footballers, but I know Robbie Fowler certainly watched - he's been playing in Australia for the past two years now...

When I started this thread, I didn't think that the end would be quite so delightful. Sorry for your pain Marty but having been an Englishman in France for 13 years I am well used to being on the receiving end of various jibes when it all went wrong for England in so many sports.

So, in the famous words of Thomas WP when we won the Ashes in the last Series

Great result, forged from years of playing together through adverse times, eventually getting the recipe right, not letting egos ruin it for the team and sticking with it-WELL DONE ENGLAND =D> =D> ^O^ ^O^


Shame that Premier Football owners don't take the same approach :twisted:
