Ill have to start sprint training when we get back,so that i can get ready for Grimsby. #-o

Jason - if you can't take the erg, go sand dune training instead. When you run up them it's three steps forward but you slide back two. I did this many many many years ago when I used to run 40 miles a week - one of the hardest training sessions I ever did (we were carrying someone piggy back as well if I remember rightly).

Have a great holiday Jason and dont worry about the erg for 10 days. You will not lose any fitness and the body can repair itself properly - it will do you good - providing of course you dont drink yourself silly

Two weeks in Southern Finland: Fri17 till Aug 2nd. Hope there are no bugs, lots of mushrooms, and please, no one pass me on the meter board, 'cause why would a FS want to kick another FS who already is incapacitated by erg-less time overseas?? [-X :?

Have a good one Andy.

I'm just back from a long weekend in Porto, if you're any where near it's well worth a look, great views, food and of course Port. Free tours and tasting in many of the Port houses.

20 DAYS! - I don't get that many holidays in a year (so I'm jealous as hell  ) - have a great break and hope you find that erg as 20 days without one (especially if you find a good bar) is gonna hurt when you get back.

Just this minute booked to go to Majorca (or Mallorca as it now seems to be called) for a week in about three week's time.

Villa with pool. No erg just let the kids run riot whilst I destroy my ability to dive in and save them with the local brew.

At least it won't be raining there (I hope). The weather here at the moment is a complete bummer - again.

A grand total of 1 erg on Ocean Village 2 and it had a severe case of "wheel wobble". Managed a few sessions but the overindulgence of puddings really didn't help at all.

The only decent row was a 30 minutes finishing with 7590m. I havn't weighed myself since I got back yesterday (not brave enough). Having more cryo treatment this afternoon on verruccas so won't be rowing for a few days after this afternoon either - could it be HWT Plummy??

Good to be back

There's a particular place in Italy that 'Mrs' and I want to go to, to celebrate a future anniversary.

So yesterday I booked it....for June 2011

Is this a record for forward planning?

Yeah. What if you're not married in two years? Just kidding.

Jenny and I are going to B.C. this week to tour the wine country there in her nice little coupe. It's supposed to be kind of hot there. Actually, I just checked and it looks like it'll be very nice 28 on Monday and mid 20's the rest of the week. :D I just can't decide whether to go thru Jasper and Banff on the way or just Banff. I wonder how much wine her car can hold.

Not quite as advanced as Mikey, but just paid the deposit on NEXT years holiday for two weeks in October/November 2010 (the earliest I have ever booked ahead). As it's the 25th wedding anniversary we decided to make sure we got what we wanted - two weeks cruising around the Caribbean on the Empress of the Seas with Royal Caribbean - (now I've just got to figure out a way to pay for it without going on the game!)

Just got back from the Okanagan last night. Fabulous trip, lots of driving through the Rockies and then past beautiful lakes and the weather was stunning, 30C and sunny every day. Oh and we brought back 3 cases of wine. :D Image Note bottle in left hand.

Off with the whole family, well wife and 3 "kids" anyway, to Sri Lanka early Saturday.
A celebration of a certain birthday for Mrs Wolfie.
A short tour of inland, including elephant safari, then 5 days on a beach.
All very excited.
Missing WIRC and EIRC. But hey ho, one has to make sacrifices now and then.
