Meterboard 2 - bugs and feature requests

Where should the web site go - what should we do? Who has the time between rows?

Interesting. Definitely a bug - it should be there for everyone, and thinking about the code, I can see how it might happen. Thank you for letting me know.

Today I used the ergdata app for the first time.
The original meterboard has me up by 28+K for the day, the beta version 26+k for today, although I did only around 11k. (Udate: I deleted all the ergdata workouts and re-entered them manually. Unfortunately, it did not change my 28k summary that should be 11 for yesterday. ) The C2 weekly summary is correct for ski-erg and erg combined. )Hmmmm....Image

Hi Chris

Are you talking about getting meters that are already recorded on the C2 website for the current season onto the Free Spirits meter board? If so, It's just a question of going into your profile and selecting Free Spirits as your affiliation.

If it's meters from previous seasons, you will need to do the following:

1. If already recorded on the C2 website, simply post on the lifetime millionaires thread stating how many millions you have done and plummy will add you to the spreadsheet.

2. If not already recorded, you will need to go onto the C2 website, go into History and scroll down to Add new historical monthly total. This will allow you to enter your total meters on a month by month basis for rowing done prior to the current season. Meters recorded during the current season will have to be added individually.

Regards
Paul

I really like the look of the new metre board - nicely done TWP. However the column for today's distance i.e. May02 isn't displaying the correct data - it's displaying the sum of May01 and May01 and as a result the 'last 7 days' total is wrong too for everyone who rowed on the 1st.

Not obvious what is happening. Also it has Gregory Smith showing up with 0 metres (he has posted some OTW - no idea why he is appearing where he is!)

I *think* it may be fixed, but we'll find out as people rejoin. [-o< [-o< [-o< [-o< [-o<

The Gregory Smith appearing with 0 metres was a nasty little bug :/ Hopefully bodged up fixed now.

Well done, looks much better now.

Yeah, I noticed someone with 0 metres at the bottom of the board yesterday too, but it was a Mr Lam, not Gregory Smith. Seems okay now though.

It must have sorted itself out after the initial run. Good spot as it looks fine now.

Try deleting Free Spirits cookies, then get back to me. Also, have you rowed yet?

Well done. I think there is a small bug in the cookies set if you've not yet rowed.

"May 1, meters rowed shows on the meter board but if you click my name the page of graphs doesn't show the daily meters I rowed May 1 (though it shows total meters rowed for May). Nor does May 1, show at the top of the page where it breaks out year, month, day, etc.

Also, May 1, is not showing as an active day in the totals (assuming one rowed, and I did)."

Are you using an old bookmark? Try the meterboard link at the top of the screen?

I think there is possibly a "meterboard doesn't appear" bug which is either your problem  or that you need to delete cookies. So it might have been a real one - I was waiting for you to say "nope, still can't see it".

Not a bug as such, but I was hoping to get a set of black feet to go with my red feet when I completed a HM by May15th in addition to my earlier FM.

Hi Thomas

I've just noticed that the meter board seems to be a day out. It is saying that today is the 21st day of the season and is calculating daily averages based on 21 days.

Also, my individual record is pulling in last year's total on May 1st and then showing a large negative figure on May 2nd (equal to the meters I rowed on May 1st and 2nd minus last season's total). This is totally throwing out the bar chart showing my daily meters to date. I've had a look at a number of other members and some of them have a similar problem while the majority appear to be OK. It may be to do with the fact that I didn't records any meters on May 1st.

If I've identified the source of the problem, can it be corrected? Alternatively, if it's not possible to show correct figures for May 1st and 2nd, would it be possible to amend the bar chart so that it only shows daily figures from May 3rd onwards for those members who didn't record any meters on May 1st?

Thanks
Paul

You were not alone in that first day issue. I have had a little look and there are quite a few. You should be fixed now, but I need to fix the others programatically (or manually - which will take some time).

Thanks for pointing it out.

The day of season one is annoying because I already changed it to match the right day (or so I thought)...
