Concept 2 UK Forum

Where should the web site go - what should we do? Who has the time between rows?

Concept 2 UK Forum

Post by AlanS »

I know, it's not our web site, but is anyone else being blocked from the C2UK Forum by their browser for security purposes? I noticed it last night using Chrome at home, and it's happening this morning with Firefox at work. Was fine about 9pm last night, but shortly after that it all went wrong.

We use Firefox on Mac and Windows and there's a warning that's been coming up since last night:

Warning - visiting this web site may harm your computer!

Reported Attack Page!
This web page at concept2.co.uk has been reported as an attack page and has been blocked based on your security preference
Attack pages try to install programs that steal private information, use your computer to attack others, or damage your system. Some attack pages intentionally distribute harmful software, but many are compromised without the knowledge or permission of their owners.

It's just the Forum page, the rest of the site seems okay.

I always have a delay loading the C2 forum. It always loads eventually, but it generally takes a minute or two and I can't run anything else while it's loading. Has anyone else had this problem?

Yes - exactly that, but not quite a minute or two, more like 30 seconds or so. It's the only website I ever go to where this happens and I've often wondered why.

Hi Paul, yes I also get the delay only 15 secs though, 2-3 mins would be annoying might be worth getting in touch with your phone company to see if they can improve your connection/ download speed. Hows the shoulder these days matey?
