I did not feel well after the 1st Restday doing nought, so I did a 30' recovery row .. I have to say that I still feel the 31k from the day before.

My weight is now on the lower side but stable around 103.

And the Organisers are on time with their updates, which is really good.

5 rows left for 10 rowers who survived the 1st 2 weeks

This was once more in the gym. 0.4s Pace slower again. Had to take a shortish drinking break.
Only 4 rows left \o/

If I'm back to full fitness, I might consider it. But it might coincide with my holidays, which could make it difficult to complete, particularly on the days I'm travelling.

Paul, I will definitely not row it alone, this time I had Malwina from C2TweetCrew to push me. :)

The 15th row had the same distance, could chop of a big 0.5s chunk from the pace
Only 3 rows left \o/

I'm really no negative splitter, even "even-splitts" are a pain for me.
Start fresh and ease it of to the finsh! Sure you can't go all out on the start but that is not the point.
Mentally, positive splitting is easy for me.

2 more \o/

Thanks Guys!

Here comes my TdE-Conclusion

Untill now this is the season with the most rowed meters for me, after 3 month I'm halfway through the distance I have done last year.

Coming from the early FM PB in May, staring with high DF and more long distance rows for weight loss and as prep for the TdE, I nearly beat some PMs on the way but the stages do not fit the rankable C2 distances:

Code: Select all

TdE 1:00:07.8	16,100m 1:52.0 51m less
PB 1:00:00.0 16,122m 1:51.6

TdE 27:56.6	7,900m 1:46.1 77m more
PB 30:00.0 8,406m 1:47.0

PB 21:12.9	6,000m 1:46.0
Anyhow, I got some pro rata Nonathlon points.

I will rest a bit and then try to beat some PBs for real.

Was it fun? I guess you have to wait a bit to get a reasonable answer ;)
