Warm up challenge: Metrownome

Post by Thomas W-P » Fri Mar 01, 2013 6:59 pm

  • Row 1,000m with the monitor on "/500m" with 10 splits.
  • Row as evenly as you can for 1,000m
  • Look at the splits in watts (by pressing CHANGE UNITS)
  • Count how many of the watt splits are identical
  • Publish your scores here (1-10)
  • This will close at the end of March or April depending on interest.

I managed 8 today. First 8 splits were all 177w. Last two were 179w. I found it hard to keep a steady pace and had to keep on speeding up and slowing down to stay on target.

I managed 7 today (after fixing the logcard which had a complete wobbler and had me rowing in 2096!). It was the first 7, which means I could have got 10 if I had maintained concentration.
