Okay do today I did the mile, this time the CORRECT distance,
Time : 8:18.9
Weight : 48 kg
Age :46
It was slow by anyone else's standards, but I did manage to keep the split times even at around 2:35.

I got bored looking at myself. The avatars I've used so far have come from pics I have either taken in the garden or out and about. Do you know what they are?Mike Channin wrote:Oh, and Alan, what's with the feathered wildlife avatar images????

OK, here are the final standings for the 1 mile challenge:
Well done to Mikkel for the fastest actual time, and to Philip for the fastest adjusted time. But, of course, many congratulations to Mikkel for taking overall honours. =D>

I thank with all humility, but I was not the fastest, since several did not register for this little competition, I mention them interchangeably, Erik, Paul, Jason, and probably many others that I don't know of, and Matt which did 5:12.6 and which is participating. Well done Mat =D> =D> =D>AlanS wrote:Well done to Mikkel for the fastest actual time, and to Philip for the fastest adjusted time. Re: Weight & Age Adjusted Rowing Challenge - October 2012
Quite pleased with 4th after a difficult month (or the 5th it should have been if Mat had updated his time).
I did find this good as additional incentive to get back on and try for an improvement, for both an overall points gain, and to try to catch Plummy on the adjusted time. So big thanks to Alan (the bird-man) for taking the time and effort to run this.
