A "Virtual Indoor Rowing Championships" session has been setup by a few of us that lamentable can't go to BIRC. That however does not stop us from getting our share of the suffering  For me this is going to be another one of those 5AM sessions  , but sacrifices must be made. Looking forward to seeing some of you in the session, though if you live within 5 hours drive of Birmingham you really ought to be booking a room now to go to the real deal.

I think that is midnight for me on 22nd, and if I am coaching at 6am the next day it may be a little tough! Tempting though. It would be more evidence for Tamsin that I am completely bonkers.

Its not like I am any less mad to be getting up at 4AM for a 5AM race. As much as I would like to see you, if you are coaching that morning being sleep deprived is probably a bad idea.

11:00 GMT session is now full, but there are still 6 spaces in the 16:00 GMT session and 12 spaces in the 18:00 GMT session. If you can't be at BIRC, this is a great way to share in the event

Brilliant idea and well worth the effort to take part from my point of view. Thanks for the words on the Chat Bill. =D> I was in a flap about being the starter and had Trish on standby - luckily Steve took over. I had a PB by 2.1 seconds and got under 7 minutes for the first time ever!

Well done on sub-7 Bill =D> =D> =D> I sb'd with a 7:06.9 and posted my first ranked score as a 40-49 MHWT :fswink: I will have my footage up on youtube as soon as I can. I was blowing up at the end as I was pacing for 7:00 in the beginning despite my predictions from recent sessions. Even 30 minutes later I am still short of breath. Here are my splits:
