Sun 17th 15:00GMT (16:00BST) THE HOUR

Post by kingy2 »

Just signed up for this one, will be the furthest I've done for a couple of months so the plan is just to finish it. 14K would be good. Anybody else fancy an outing?

I will see how I feel after today's efforts as having someone else to pace along with for 14k sounds appealing (I keep cranking up the pace and then handling down on 60 minute rows). I've not felt too good the last couple of days but want to keep the training up with Farnborough approaching.

I may see you there but don't be surprised if I'm not

Its a bit to long to fit in my dinnertime. #-o I set up 30min at 11:00GMT.

To be honest, IF I get to 14K the way my fitness level is at the moment, I doubt there'll be anything left. (so behave yourself  )

I'm not sure I've ever sprinted 500K either.

I wish I knew that earlier, another 30min session at an earlier time would have suited me better.

Thanks for setting that up Kingy - worked OK for me too. Sorry I didn't hang back. I felt pretty good at 2:03 to start and having you and Colin behind me helped push me along and the good thing was, the guys in front of me were MILES in front so not worth chasing.

Colin did a good job of pushing me along with his regular little sprints down to 1:55/56 so I kept thinking he was going to go to the finish at that pace so I pushed a bit more to try and keep 200m ahead.

Great to hear you got a PB CColin, =D> =D> =D> I'd like to see your splits if you have them as you seemed a little eratic. some of them must have been pretty quick. I'm thinking there's more to come.

Hi Dave cheers mate
The splits were all over the place I started off at r22 but soon found myself out the back so sprinted to catch Ruud and yourself, then as per usual on Row Pro I went chasing in this case Plummy who was at 200m this became my new target to hold or beat the 200m at the finish I was pleased that Plummy had the same mind set.
Dave when you download your splits from row pro to this forum how do you do it, slowly please :?

Nice pacing Plummy, I must say I'm quite envious of your SPM, always been a problem for me. Must get some low rating stuff done.
