I was planning on getting a new PB at the CIRC but as it's been called off, I thought I may as well set it up here. At least that way I have to get it done.
As always, any pace is welcome, mine will be just under 1:50 I hope [-o<

Thats a very good attempt to shift the pressure my friend. Just entered some of our recent times into Thomas' pace predictor.Den-J wrote: .....and somehow I don't think i'll beat you this time
For me I used my 2.5K & Hour Prediction 7:17.6
For you I used your 5K & Hour Prediction 7:16.4
Looks like there's only one winner
Maybe we should just accept these and avoid the pain
Come on Colin, just turn up for a paddle.

At work so working from memory...
Go to control center
select on line
select session list
place a tick against the relevant race.
On race day
Go to session setup
select online
It should be intuitive from there. If this is wrong I'm sure somebody will post a correction

I seem to have registered for 2k PB attempt. That's the only one at 1300hrs so assume it's correct. I'll be online again at 1250hrs and await the starter's flag
I've scoured the programme looking for a point to enter my 2k PB to no avail. The other entrants have entered theirs. Is it me?

Den
I think that I'm using a different version to you. Under "Oarbits", there is no Home tab. I've looked under User Profile elsewhere inthe programme and it ain't there. Never mind. It's probably me being a dimbo.

Bill,
You can't actually change your 2k time in Rowpro - you must use a web browser (ie,firefox, or whatever) and log into your account on the oarbits website. Here is the link:
http://www.digitalrowing.com/default.as ... emid%3d512
Once you log on, then go to your profile and the best 2k will be an entry you can change. It is very daft that it must be done this way...hopefully they will correct this in Rowpro 3 [-o<

Great day out fellahs. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>
How many PB's did we collectively get? Mine was by 5 seconds. The sub-7 slipped away in the last 500m Leg strength started to fade and I couldn't hold my form. But I was very pleased with the result and look at the money we saved on fuel not going to Launceston Dave.
Trish was out there cheering me on as my audience of one! =D> =D>

Re: RowPro 2K 28th Feb 13:00 GMT **completed**
An 8 second pb for me My wife was coxing for me telling me dave's pace all through the race, he went out quick over the first hundred building a 6m lead that he held for the first 1200m I managed not to panic and stayed with my pace plan started to catch him and was really strong over the last 500 to take over in the last 300m really enjoyed that and feel like i'm starting to get to grips with the distance
pacing
1:50.1
1:49.0
1:48.7
1:45.4
looks like there may be another couple of seconds there?
so my new pb 7:12.9 ...i'm catching you Stan
thanks for the competition guys its much easier setting a time with company!
oh ..and sorry for not chatting after the race ...I could not breath never mind type

Being a bit sad, I'd like to watch the race (as I couldn't during the race), any chance you guys would post the files here.
If you're unsure how to do it,
open your C2 log book,
right click on the row and select export,
select Someone else
save it somewhere.
In the forum, select reply
scroll down and select Upload attachment
BTW, a personal cox, now that's just cheating

The one you posted on here was a just row session from the 18th. I found your file on line with your very helpful prompt as to where I would find it
It appears we had a good race, you had a great last 10 strokes, I didn't. It was plain to see how it would end with 500 to go!!
