Rowpro 5k, Sep 28 19:45GMT--COMPLETED

Post by badocter »

I saw Jef of Sub-7 had set this session up. A little late for my taste, but Jef and I are a close match and push each other well, so I can't let the opportunity pass by. Hope to seem some of you. All paces welcome.

The session is now up to 9 participants. Should be very painful.

Solid row Bill. You seem to be progressing nicely toward that 6:50 you've been after.

Thanks Kirby and Jason  I still have plenty of other times for you to target in addition to the 5k -- bring it on  I will of course reciprocate in due course.

Cheers Badocter.
I turned the damper down to get a drag factor of 130 (i read peter marsdon rows nearly everything at 130)I found that i could hold the splits better at 130 than 160-170.Without killing myself .

Congratulations Bill (sorry its a bit late). Both yourself and Jef have made great strides forward this year. I remember beating Jef at BIRC last year, although I believe he was coming back from injury at the time. Absolutely no chance of that this year - apart from anything else he is now lightweight. :)
Jason well done on breaking the 8k for 30mins - great milestone that I would love to get myself one day but suspect it may be beyond my capabilities.
