Rowlympic Challenge
There is a new C2 challenge available.
July 23–30
The Concept2 Rowlympic Challenge coincides with the Olympic Games Regatta. To take part, you need to complete all eight events. You can do so on the RowErg, SkiErg or BikeErg, or on-water, but you must complete all the events on the same type of machine. You can do the events in any order as long as you finish by the end of July 30, 2021. Good luck!
Event #1 1000 meters
Event #2 1 minute
Event #3 10,000 meters
Event #4 20 minutes
Event #5 2000 meters
Event #6 10 minutes
Event #7 6000 meters
Event #8 30 minutes
NOTE - the above events are for rowerg or otw. Bikerg events are different. See C2 website for details.

Re: Rowlympic Challenge
Thanks jon, I had missed this. As I am only usually rowing at weekends, may have to do this in 2 consecutive days next weekend and include CTC as well! It won't be fast as 24km and an hour 1 min of rowing required! (As I don't think doing 1k during the recovery 7 min in CTC is the best preparation for the 2kR20!). Otherwise will have to try and fit in a row during the working week after that might not be achievable.

Astonishingly, the second person to complete this challenge on the entire planet was a Free Spirit. Well done Pete Jain .

Re: Rowlympic Challenge
Well done those earlier finishers, very impressive. I have failed doing in 2 days so will try and fit in a session mid-week for the 10k & 20' that remain. Did try and do CTC at the same time and this took many goes that were not the right distances for all of the events. Have a 20' time, but very slow and so will redo as a w/d, but didn't complete 10k in a stretch.

Re: Rowlympic Challenge
Finally managed to get through a 10k last night to complete the set for this. Generally, I'm done in at 20~25 mins and lose the will to continue after that but having done 7 of the 8 events I didn't want to bail on the last 5k or so (knowing I can get to 5k - ish reasonably ok). It took me 43 minutes mind you!!

Re: Rowlympic Challenge
I saw this late, but fortunately had a 10k and 10 min already within the period, so managed to squeeze out the other 6 today.
The site recognised my entries straight away and I could get the certificate immediately, so maybe they'd sorted the problems you early birds had.
