Upcoming Challenges

Post by JonT »

Quick reminder that there are two challenges over the next week:
  • Juneteenth - 19th June - row 1,900m or more on the day (can be spread over more than one session)
  • Summer Solstice - 20th June - row 21,000m or more on the day (can be spread over more than one session)
I may have a bash at the HM on the 20th, but recent form tells me it won't be a great time. I struggled to hold 2:10 on a 4x15min today, so holding 2:04 for an HM looks like a pipe dream. #-o

thanks for the timely reminders Jon.
Sadly, as a weekend for me, there will be no erging (not that I've done much at all this season anyway)

The Meterboard has been a bit over generous on the Juneteenth challenge by the looks of it. I’ll take a look.

EDIT - Now fixed I think.

Thanks for letting me know Plummy.

The Meterboard only updates distances once an hour and challenges once every 3 hours (the last part is from memory). You're black circle is there now Plummy.

To be honest, these timings go back to a time when processing power was a rare commodity. I'll have a look at increasing the frequency when I get a chance.

EDIT - the icons were updating every four hours. I think I have changed things to update the board every 30 minutes and icons every hour.

Thanks for the info Jon. Didn't know that - glad someone's at the helm knowing all this stuff :-)
