Strava Club - come and join

For those of you who use Strava, I have created a club which you can join without an invite.

I just thought it was another way to share with others what you have been up to on and off the ergo.

Link to Strava Club

P.S. Strava wouldn't let me set the club location as "Planet Earth" or "Global or anything useful so I am afraid I just went for UK.

Hiya Jon.

I use Strava for recording cycle rides.

Would joining for rowing create a bit of mess?

Not at all. I use it to record cycling, running, refereeing (!), walking and rowing. To be honest the rowing support is pretty poor and doesn't really impact on your overall activity. So, joining the club on Strava is really just a way of sharing/seeing activity with/of others.

Just poked my head into the forum since I haven't been rowing much, just getting in 10-15 mins a day - all that I have been allowed. Joined the strava club as I have been doing a lot of bike metres. Pity it doesn't record erg metres particularly well but at least it reads my Polar data quite nicely. Since I use polar for almost everything then strava gets the lot as well.

I only row in the winter season, but I will probably fit in some running over the spring and summer, so I am in :)

Thanks Jon

I've joined, though for me Strava is almost all running, so please let me know if this distort things and I'll make a hasty exit :D

I try to do couple of erg session per week but my old headmaster once reminded me that the road to hell is paved with good intentions, so who knows!

Cheers
