Re: NOVEMBER 2020 - CTC
First time back to rowing in months due to back issues and then being back in Michigan for summer away from rower. It's not fast, but it floated a boat . Janet

Just finished my effort this month
I couldn't have planned it if I had tried I included this in my taper week but at R30 leaving the last interval to blow my socks off.

Well, that was a short lived return to the erg...had an unfortunate fall on our boat today while fishing and broke 3 ribs. Glad I got the boat afloat when I did! See you back hopefully in a couple months.

Oh no Janet. I hope you heal quickly!

Re: NOVEMBER 2020 - CTC
Well done all for some great rowing in this deceptively nasty challenge Extra credits to Claudius for an eye-watering row and to Jon whose pain I'm sure we all felt when he reported that his monitor crashed
I'd originally planned to have another shot at this one after taking a couple of weeks off the erg mid-month to take part in an ultra-marathon (running, not erging!). Unfortunately I haven't quite got back into the 3 erg sessions pw that I'd promised myself. I did sit down a couple of days ago to have another bash, but I HD'd just after starting the warm up and went for a run instead!
So, best of luck to all those going for one more attempt at this one
I'd hoped that this would be the end of my brief foray into fast stuff for a while... now I've just seen the Dec challenge I've a feeling I'll have to try to rate higher than 30 for that one

Re: NOVEMBER 2020 - CTC
Hope to see you back as soon as possible, must be quite painful
With 13 meters behind boat 2 I thought I might try this one one more time. Would approximately three meters per rep more be possible?
Turned out it was, 2614 m in stead of the 2580 m I rowed the first time. Resp. 13, 6, 7, 8 and 0 meters more. Pretty satisfied with the result, and Crushy or Peter, I'm not going for another one, so when you better my result you don't have to fear me
Let's see what the 813 m of December will bring.

I also had a go at this today. Just about managed to average sub 2:00 pace - 2277m in total. Now sitting ashore in boat VI with 3 others unless one of our female members comes along to rescue us. The lovely Jennifer is unfortunately injured and unable to participate.
