I've done mine Jon 1:37.1 That was a shock to the system !!
Only doing R18 -20 at the mo. Plus the ski-erg is taking some getting use to

That must have been quite a shock Kevin! I've been doing a lot of r18-20 work too so I know what you mean. I found it really hard to work out what/how I was doing. My rating was all over the place.Kevinhorne44 wrote: โSat Apr 24, 2021 12:02 pm I've done mine Jon 1:37.1 That was a shock to the system !!

Did you enter a score? It is still showing as 0 at the moment.

Nicely done Jon! Your nonathlon is looking classy: I'm thinking maybe you should aim to turn the whole row blue next season since now you've already achieved a fully green metanonathlonOn the bright side I got a 50 point Nonathlon haul and a full-house of green in the Metanonathlon
Kevin: awesomely fast as ever I couldn't spin the fly wheel that fast for even a couple of strokes! Shock to my system too - thought my lungs were going to explode! Would have been messy mind

On the board now Jon I had a chuckle at my adjusted time. Its .4 slower than my SB
Louise it's been 8 weeks since I have done anything in a higher heart rate range. If I had an exhaust. Black smoke would have been bellowing out of it

I have been told to stay off the erg, but how much harm can it be to do 500m? Please let me know if weโre short of a full team and Iโll hop on the erg before month end.

At the moment we have 5 out of 8 seats filled. Peter, Fred, Colin, Richard and you have not rowed yet. I'd be surprised if we don't get to 8, but it is hard to tell from here given only three days remain.Paul Victory wrote: โTue Apr 27, 2021 9:57 pm I have been told to stay off the erg, but how much harm can it be to do 500m? Personally, I wouldn't take the risk Paul.

Re: Indoor Rowers League 20/21
I have been hit by some kind of virus probably, felt really weak the last couple of weeks. It's not Covid, don't know what it is though. Was hoping to feel a bit better to be able to row this one before the end of the month, but at the moment it doesn't feel very well.
Anyway, perhaps I'll do it tomorrow as well, but I'm sure the result will be very poor.

Fred, sorry to hear about the illness. Get some rest and give yourself some time to heal.fkoene wrote: โThu Apr 29, 2021 3:27 pm I have been hit by some kind of virus probably, felt really weak the last couple of weeks. Thanks, Jon. Perhaps a little row tomorrow to occupy a seat, but after that a week vacation.

Done a very short warming-up, within a couple of minutes this will be over.
Should it have been a 10k I wouldn't have considered it

Re: Indoor Rowers League 20/21
I checked and there were only 7 entries, so I decided to put in an entry. 1:53.6 is probably my slowest 500m TT since shortly after I started erging, but at least I got it done.

Re: Indoor Rowers League 20/21
We finished the final event with nine out of ten seats filled which is a great effort.
The site is quite confusing but I think we finished 8th overall which is also a brilliant result given people have had various struggles through the IRL season.
Thanks to all that took part. It remains to be seen if this ever runs again. If so, I will try to get earlier notice out. Maybe we will even get two teams running??
