:D :D - that's not going to happen in this lifetime - I would however be delighted to eventually get to about 90kg - the weight I was at when I did all my PBs.

that's better happy with that, I've still got a weakness for chocolate digestive biscuits, thou the raised bed and the fruit in the garden is proving very productive, so I snack on its produce instead which has to be better for me.

Well done Colin!

I finally got back into the amber zone this week. The fact that I was taking an antibiotic that prevented me from drinking any alcohol for the past five days is entirely coincidental! Anyway, now that I'm there, I'm going to see if I can keep moving in the right direction.

After losing almost 6 kilos in the previous two weeks, any further weight loss is great. I wonder how long it will take you to pass me?

:) :) I have some way to go still - can't complain about this week - my daughter was home for the week so we had a few large family meals, and with the bad weather I only managed 12km on the rower( we've moved to a smaller place so the erg is outside and I am not going to row in the rain - the machine just lands up getting damaged) - it's been about five years since I was last under 100kg, and I was commuting 90km a day on the bicycle.

After 3 days off training with a head cold that went south and a resting heart rate that went from 53 to 88 :( I'm feeling much better to day. :D weighed in this morning at 91.3 kg. probably not a true reflection of where I'm at but reported in anyway.

Well done Colin. I’ve only been on the erg once this month and my weight is staying stubbornly close to the 100 kg mark. I’m still just about in the amber zone, but I’ve decided I’m only going to post updates once a month unless I have good news to report. I’m running out of red ink. :^o

First reversal in 6 weeks - a change in medication a week ago has left me feeling a little tired and I did not row much last week - also let the good eating slip a bit.
Still, I will be back on it this week.

The meds have been working great - can get a little dizzy if I stand up too quickly with the increased Beta blocker dosage lowering my blood pressure but that's not a major issue.
Had a really good week getting a lot of walking in, and despite my 3 burger feast last night, still managed a 2.7kg loss for the week

Nothing to worry about, Colin - the important thing is to get well again.

Small setback this week again - as with the last setback it seems to coincide with having just done a long walkand having lots of sugary food to replace lost energy - I did a 32 km walk on the Coastal Path yesterday.
Back to more rowing this week.

Thanks, Colin - good to hear you're almost recovered.

Back to steady but unspectacular progress this week- similar amount of exercise but slightly better eating.

Keep going Colin, now that your chest is clear again and you can start to exercise you should be good for some noticeable weight loss.

Paul, that's an amazing weight loss you have achieved so far, 13 kilos in two months! Your wife must be (even more than before) excited! :D
