Hi Thomas,
Thank you for all your work on the website over the years!
I'm a Paypal subscriber since last year and before that donated in 2018, but my icon still says I'm a friend of the 2016 website. Can I get a new icon please?

You didn't subscribe to the repeating annual payment. You did a one off.

Re: Friend of the Web Site 2020
Thanks for the nudge! Please can I have the nice rowing icon now .
Not sure if this is possible but is there any way to automatically subscribe to new topics? I get prompts when people reply to a topic I've subscribed to, but if a new topic is posted I often miss it.

I've no idea at all. We use phpbb v 3.3, so if you have a Google you might if it is possible?MaxMacLaren1 wrote:Thanks for the nudge! Please can I have the nice rowing icon now .

Re: Friend of the Web Site 2020
OK. I think I’ve worked this out. If you view this forum (not this specific post) and go to the bottom, there is a “subscribe forum” checkbox. Strangely, it needs to be unticked to work (which feels like the wrong way around to me). I have tried this, but nobody has posted yet so I can’t say for certain that it works.MaxMacLaren1 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 6:13 pm Not sure if this is possible but is there any way to automatically subscribe to new topics? Jon, Thank you that's brilliant. I had looked up phpBB as Thomas suggested and found people asking the same question, but there was no simple answer. I've unticked the box and if no one posts a new topic in the next week or so then I'll think of one.
