VTC 2020 - Virtual TeamChallenge

Post by Tako »

Some of you probably already noticed the snow flakes on the Meterboard. They are a result of participation in the VTC for the Free Spirits.
Please remember signing up for it in your C2 logbook in the team section.
The team needs all meters it can get!!!

Currently we are only on 11th spot, while we are the team with highest number of members!

I'm in and opened my contribution with a HM :fswink:

Not sure if I was in before but I am now . Is this a new challenge because I can't find a topic from last year to see how we did? Or is this the 2020 version of the World Erg Challenge last March where we were 4th.

Max, to my knowledge this is the main team Challenge that C2 does every year in addition to the Fall team challenge FTC. For the meter board I copied it for the second time in a row.
We might not have had an own thread about it as we are not doing that well in the VTC, due to tough competition. As I wrote earlier for the FTC, I do not like the fact that one has to subscribe actively for the team challenges, as the team rows far more than we get credit for in the challenges. Just look at the meterboard and look at how many of us log meters without having the Image

Ann, great to see you back on the Meterboard! I already noticed your name in the new and returning member thread :-)

Nice thread Tako. It’s not at all obvious you need to sign up separately unless you’re one for details. I’m work travelling loads of January, so tried to pack some early meters in πŸ˜€.

Well done for the original post.

I'm only erging about once a week but the Bikeerg is getting a fair bit of my time and these metres (divided by 2) count towards the team's standing - as of today I am on 46,177. I just hope your post encourages more Free Spirits to sign up.

Regards

Hello, a delated HNY 2020 ! And with this new Year the beginning of the VTC 2020. Here is another BikeErger whos meters count fot the challenge but wont appear on the rowing only meterboard - as an explanation for the distract low meters on the meterboard- and much more meters on the challenges board. Did some metric century rides last week, so taking the lead temporary...but now a bit recovery is necessary.
