Hi Paul, you haven't added me to your latest FS updated table. At the beginning of the month, in order to test out my pacing, I rowed an experimental 1000m.

I see that you were also included on the Diamonds' table for last season, so I'm assuming that if I wanted to, then I could be added for this season?

Does anyone else find some Nonathlon points are harder to earn than others? Not just short distance power v long distance endurance. For example my middle distance points are...
5k pace 1:47.7 = 918
6k pace 1:48.8 = 920 compared to 5k this seems generous
10k pace 1:51.4 = 907 compared to 5k and 6k this seems pretty mean

I'd read the statistical smoothing explanation on the nonathon website (interesting in a perverse sense), and you may have come up against a peak performance time in your weight/age bracket which pushes up the gold standard.

With three times left to post (with the 100 point bonus for a full house), I wouldn't bet against that though.

I did a 30 min today, wanted to have a score there. Didn't want to push myself to the limits because of the heat, the pace was over a second slower then my 10K pace 2 weeks ago, but managed a 7805 mtr leading to 892 nonathlon points. Exactly the same amount as last season by the way.

Updated table to show Frank's great performance and my slight improvement on 1k and 2k times. Gregor and Felton have also sneakily increased their points.
