Hello Stan,

since the discussion about the IRL participation i am also in - but i am the one who dont have a name...thought the "id" should be your ranking id from c2log...so i am "1081739" and not Claudius  I always need a bit longer for some things  ...stumbled about the nonathlon in the forum but didnt pay any big attention to it...now that i am in...hey it´s really a big motivation...and i tried a go for the 6k, but didnt felt good...and HDing after 800m...but time will come :D some times need to improve as they were intervals from other session and not a single all out effort !

Hi guys - long time no post as I have been suffering with "wrist"itis and a touch of lazybones

Just posting to warn you that I got a spam email (not very hostile but defintely phishing). This was to the email address I only use (and have only ever used) to register for the nonathlon. No doubt about it, as I am a bit of a geek and the email was nonathlon@<personal domain name>! Perhaps someone a bit closer could highlight to the administrators they need to tighten up a bit

Good luck with the challenge, and lets keep safe online!

Mark, 52, 1.90m, was 125kg (on 12/1/2015), now 110kg having been briefly at 99kg in 2016

Just changed my status to Lwt, had to change back 5 distances to slower times done as lightweight but still higher scoring and more room for improvement. This is on the back of a SB HM as a Lwt to complete the distances (see PP thread). Still slow, but definitely coming back!
55 year old Lwt (in ability and in weight) trying to develop a technique that doesn't cause hysterics and continue to row regularly.

It took a while but I've entered my eighth result. After a failed attempt on the CTC yesterday, couldn't keep up the needed pace, decided to go foor the 60 minutes today. I wanted more meters then last year and that worked out ok. Racing against myself with last years result and my PB I ended out exactly in the middle. I was hoping for a 900-result but ended out 3 points short with my 15250 mtrs. Don't know whether I'll have the guts to try this again. I think the result will be green in the meta-nonathlon sheet, the way I look at it now that's ok for me.

Completed my list of nonathlon results today, a half marathon (I promised myself a couple of years ago I would never row a full marathon again. Up till now I have no intention whatsoever to break that promise). This time I first checked what time I had to row to get 900 points. That worked, ended out with 902 points, 1:24:14.1.
My fifth 900(+) result. Never had that many 900's before.
This week I'm gonna try to get IRL and/or CTC results. After that (and a week's holiday next week) I'm going to try get some more points for some distances. 2K is my lowest one this year, let's see what I can do there.

With 24 extra points for the 2K today I've got, for the first time ever, more then 8100 nonathlon points. 8105 to be precise.
10 days ago I turned 58 and by now, on the ranked workouts page of the C2 logbook, 5 out of 10 scores were rowed since that birthday. It's been a productive week.

It's been a while so here's an update. 15 points gained today with my 500 mtr. Also the last meta-nonathlon score that wasn't green, but is now. I'm afraid I'm making it hard on myself for next season in that meta thing...
A little over three months to go. Good luck everyone...

I've just realised there are only 5 weeks to the end of the season and one of my goals was a score 8,100 points! Which means I am 69 points short. A full marathon would technically do it for the 100 point bonus but a) that's not going to happen and b) the target was an average of 900 points so it would feel like cheating. Think I will focus on 60m and HM this month and then see what I need from the sprinty stuff in April. Fingers crossed.

Max, interesting that you thrive in the broad middle there and tail off (if it can be termed that) at both margins. My scores get progressively better with distance. Good luck on your quest!
