It saves me from having to walk around slack jawed for more than a day, so I'm entirely ok with thatGuidonTheBee wrote: ↑Wed May 30, 2018 1:28 pmI can only apologise for leaving my one and only attempt so late.

Bravo Sheena, that was a first-rate effort.Sheena wrote: ↑Mon May 28, 2018 3:12 pm Well done to everyone who's attempted this and for the many repeated efforts
I had my second go today, motivated by Jane who beat my time last week, so I'm afraid I've returned the favour
Just a few days left for those still thinking about it, you know who you are
I only looked at your post for the first time yesterday morning. I always knew that I was ' Psycho-pathic ' or is it telepathic because usually taking a hint is quite ' Alien ' to me.
I don't know if Jennifer is planning to put in a time this month? If she is, then I am well prepared; I'm wearing my virtual water wings, in readiness to float across to Boat V11.
Great going everyone, especially our spirited young ladies.
Paul (V) I am sorry to read that your back has been troubling you again and trust that you will be sensible enough to heed your own advice.

Thanks Rodger, that was good to know - gave me a fixed target to beat .
It was quite muggy today, and combined with my earlier failures that didn't make me feel very confident. However I decided to aim for a conservative 1:54.5 pace in both intervals, with a slow first 500m and then speeding up. That seemed to do the trick, I felt in control in the entire row and finished just below my target .
Sorry that you don't have a chance to beat my time again (I trust that you would if you tried ) but next month's 10k CTC should be more fun .
Well done Jill for psychically picking up the hint and rowing a good CTC

Thanks for the motivation Max and showing me how to do it; fighting hard to catch the guy in front of me and ending up taking the next one by 0.1 sec
However, as Guy is a LWT it won’t hurt him much

Thanks Max!
I couldn’t have done it without you and the others.
This month was great fun, let’s see what June brings
Congrats to all that contributed to fill so many boats. I have only a short history in the C2CTC but dare to say that it must have been one of the closest and most competitive once in the FS history. Great motivation and fun!
