Hi all, just a reminder to row a straight 1402m today for the annual memorial for Carole McNally.

Thank you Felton and well done. =D> :)

I wasn't able to take part in last year's CTC but after doing today's 7.14.8 I looked at my 2016 time to see how much I had improved ... And immediately wished that I hadn't  ... 6.35.7. It's made me realise how much I have let things drift. :( [-X

Two boats afloat by now. I managed a 5:00.9. Had I known I was that close to a rounded figure I had gone for that, but it was to dark to see my PM3.

5:16.8 @ 1:52.9 for me - a bit slower than my recent 1k/2k rows (allowing for Paul's Law adjustment), but I'm currently not really up to doing flat out rows two days in a row. My back tends to act up if I do any sprinting and I've had a few shoulder twinges since I started rowing more regularly. :-({|=

Back has been acting up a bit so I rowed a warmup at 1:54.8 and was set to use that. Stretched for a bit and decided to give it a full go. Had to lower the drag and up the rate a bit but got a decent score all things considered. :D

Nice effort Dan.

I had a go and was mostly happy with my time ( 5:11.6 ) but it did feel a lot harder than I thought it should have - maybe that's because it was a single "fast" rep. My asymmetric technique was very prevalent tonight so maybe that was why. Had a bit of erg cough so knew I'd worked hard.
As I hadn't done many metres I plonked a 30 mins straight after for a sharp cool down. Started steady and wound it up steadily and finished with 7316m on knackered legs and lungs

Hi all! Nice job on the Carole Memorial! This one is problematic when it falls on a weekday - as it's tough for me to row it before 5 pm. I did cut out of work early and rowed it at 4 pm, but when I refreshed the page, it was gone. So -- my request is in to the C2 forum. If they won't accommodate it, so be it. Cheers and hats off to Carole, with a respectful bow.

Great last minute effort Barbara!
Hopefully they will fix it so it gets the deserved credit; i.e. another boat afloat.

I am so sorry guys and guyesses this is the first time I have missed this tribute to the legendary Carole since 2010.

Our great team has always supported this so well over the years.

Came back from a 10 day cruise on Tuesday with a filthy cold, having only just got over a chest infection and heavy cold beforehand and completely forgot-would have done it if I had been compos mentis-apologies
