And just think, you're in a new age category (where you are the youngest, and not the oldest).
Now all you have to do is make Lwt, and you can row in the same race as Rocket and DeRanged!!! (On second thoughts, that'd put me off!)

5'11", 50 - older, slower, greyer, fatter (and needs to update the sig times too)

Many thanks to you all for the good wishes.
As I ahve now reached such an august age I celebrated with a simple dinner with the family and a cup of Horlicks before putting on my slippers and watching some mindless pap on TV.
Ok, I Didn't. We had a few people round on Saturday and got totally wasted on my best Malt's before going to bed very late and doing the same again on Sunday.
I seem to recall I had a bottle of 18 year old Glen Livet on Saturday morning, but not Sunday. I think that there might have been a 15 year old Balvennie as well (which one of my Scottish friends describes as an English whisky) but that's missing as well.
As Mike said - new age category and targets (still 4kgs short of LWT though) and new inspirations. Target is now top half of ramkings for all distances.
Alsitair kbs - nice birthday present - you do 36k to my 8k when I'm trying to catch you. Please take pity on an old man?
Thanks again and keep those metres flowing.
