Very Many Happy Returns Of Yesterday, Young Mr. Alan. \:D/

My dad would have been 99 on the 6th - you still have a long, long, long long, long long, long, long, way to go yet.

You're the first Free Spirit I met in the flesh Alan. So that makes you my oldest rowing friend.

Paul, I never realised that, it must have been BIRC 2008 then one of the few times I have managed to beat you and the only time I went under 7 mins for 2k in a comp :D

Actually, now that I think of it, I was a guest of wolfie at BRIC 2008, so I guess I met him the day before I met you. I also met a couple of teammates at IIRC - Mike Channin and John Glynn. Memory is getting faulty in my old age

Anyway, you are definitely the oldest of that group as well as being slightly older than me, so I stand over the use of the term old.

Now that I think of it, the use of the word old to describe someone as fit as you in totally inappropriate, Alan. So, happy birthday young man!
