I just joined the team and was not planning to attempt this challenge but If it helps I could try it tomorrow. Not promising anything as to time but I can provide a score

Great job by all FS! =D> This was a tricky and tough one.
Rolled around on the floor for a bit before I checked my score. Very pleased to have squeaked under 6:40, hit my SR targets and floated another boat!

Cheers Tako!
I have no real physical hindrance to row, but rowing at higher intensity or volume is advised against because that would add (or maintain) shoulder muscle mass.
To recover from the frozen shoulder I need more flexibility. In this case less muscle is better.
The physio has looked at my posture this week and said I could do easy rows of about 1k if I watch my posture, especially on the finish. I don't think doing a CTC where you have to rate 30 is what he had in mind, so I leave it at this one go.

Thanks Gregor. I figured that out after I posted, but my post had not appeared so I was hesitant to reply to it. I have registered and posted the time.

Welcome to Free Spirits calalli and thank you for helping the team in the ctc =D>
Had my fourth go last night as it was finally cooling down a bit. I hoped to improve my old score of 7:19.4 and this is how it went (old splits in parentheses):
_500 / 1:50.0 (1:52.2) / 22
1000 / 1:48.6 (1:51.3) / 27
_500 / 1:44.7 (1:44.5) / 30
Total: 7:12.0 -> 7:17.0
Really happy with my time until I noticed the 27 spm for the middle 1k Nevertheless a small improvement of 2.4 seconds. It seems my training is going in the right direction...

Hello, i couldnt resist to do it one more time...ok it was ust the 2nd attempt...but i did recently more bike stuff...and rowing for regeneration. Again i am happy about finding the correct stroke rate...but the target was sub7, concentrated so much about stroke rate that i miscalulated the approx. finish time...but there were also not much left in the tanks...and to be honest...isnt it kind not to kick Anthony out of boat 2 on the last day of the month ?
these were the splits:
7:02.1 2,000m 1:45.5 298 1324 26
1:49.3 500m 1:49.3 268 1221 22
r: 0:30 55m
3:29.9 1,000m 1:44.9 303 1341 26
r: 0:30 54m
1:43.0 500m 1:43.0 320 1401 30

Yes, once more - well done to every FS completing this month´s challenge
Had a few more attempts - but typically it gets very unpleasant half way through the second rep, so no improvement from my side...

Re: June ctc - 500 r22/30''r/1000 r26/30''/500 r30
I was so annoyed with my five second penalty yesterday that I decided to have one more last minute attempt tonight. Goal was to beat yesterday's score of 7:17.0 and of course to avoid any penalty. This is how it went:
_500 / 1:50.1 / 22
1000 / 1:49.8 / 26
_500 / 1:44.9 / 30
Total: 7:14.7 / 1:48.6
When I looked at my score after cool down it was a feeling like getting the results of your written exam at school: did I pass? Did I not pass? But I passed, every spm hit exactly Overall time was a bit slower than yesterday (7:12.0) but that didn't bother me too much (especially as this ctc was done after a 12k row otw and a 10k bike ride home from the rowing club)

I bailed this afternoon midway through an attempt to improve on my only previous effort. Message to self - don't try doing sprint intervals with a bad back and after almost three weeks off the erg!
