A little more fire on engines today, as wu did like 3:31 and 3:25 and ended up with 3:10.9 . Will have to wait and see where that leaves me - but not so much difference between Boat 1 and 2...
Old enough to know better - young enough to do it anyway

Haven't done a stand alone fast 1k in over a year. Given that and the fact I haven't done much speed work in the last couple of months and have not been feeling great, I was definitely dreading this. Ran out of time and excuses but pleasantly surprised with the result. I only wanted to go somewhere in the 3:15-20 range. Had I known I needed to beat a 3:12.5 to get in boat one I could have dug a bit deeper. Oh well...next month will give me a chance to tune up my sprinting and shoot for boat one.
