Congratulations on the sub 7 Tako! =D> =D> =D> That's a huge benchmark.
I'll put in a time before month end, even if I have to paddle backwards to do so.

Re: Indoor Rowers League 2016/2017
Really wasn't sure I would be up to this after a pretty full out CTC effort yesterday but wasn't happy not to go sub 7 last time out plus still motivated to beat Tako
Felt pretty good throughout and actually turned out to be an extremely well paced 2k

Re: Indoor Rowers League 2016/2017
Very nice friendly battle between Felton and Tako there, well done both of you! =D> =D>
Compared to that I did a rather humble 7:27.2 last night after my cold finally seems to have gone now. Not really happy with that but that's where I am right now I guess.
Well done to everyone who has entered a score so far. I hope we get the two missing scores today. Come on people, don't be surprised by the short month of February

As you asked so nicely.....
Fairly miserable 7:39.2, but at least I did it. Now if someone wil tell me my user name (I'm fairly sure I know my password), I'll enter my time on the IRL website.

Well done, everyone! =D> =D> =D>
Another month in the hole. What's up next? A 10k for the IRL and a 5,142 for the CTC?
Should be a good month for me!
I hope.

Re: Indoor Rowers League 2016/2017
Just did a 10k for the March challenge of the IRL schedule, but looks like they have not switched the system to March yet.
Will be interesting to see our position after February results have been processed.
My 10k was about 8 seconds short my PB that I did on an Erg at a gym in Switzerland in October. So I think I will celebrate it as a PB on my own Erg and I am looking forward to enter it for the IRL.

Well done Tako, about 45 seconds faster than my most recent 10k from last month so a hard target for me

Re: Indoor Rowers League 2016/2017
Very nice and strong early marker there Tako, well done!
Does anyone know a contact at the IRL site? I just realised that there is no February result for me in the list although I'm pretty sure I entered my time correctly. Weirdly enough this afternoon my result appeared as something like 16:39, so completely wrong. I'd like to ask them to fix that as we now have only seven results for February instead of eight, but can't find any email on the website?

Re: Indoor Rowers League 2016/2017
Thanks Felton. I contacted Sebastien via FB once I was accepted in the group. I also realised that he had been asking for my Feb result which of course I couldn't read before I was in that group. Anyway, I hope my request was still early enough.

Re: Indoor Rowers League 2016/2017
Issue is solved, Sebastien changed my February result and we now have eight results for that month (although my contribution wasn't too competitive ).
The problem was that I entered my March result on March 4th when the February entry form was still active, which I didn't or couldn't realise. The old form (2k) expected three digits for minutes and seconds, but of course I entered four digits for the March 10k (unfortunately I can't row a 10k in under 10 minutes, but I'm working on it ). As a consequence my entry was turned into 999 seconds which is 16:39 and was then deleted by Sebastien. But now all is good again

Did the 10k today - these middle distance challenges really suit me more than sprint intervals and the like. Happy to lay down another marker for Tako

Well done indeed. I guess I would have to use the age dependent adjustment to beat that time
I will give it another try later this month. Thanks for another tough marker!

Re: Indoor Rowers League 2016/2017
Glad you resolved it Peter.
Hopefully my entries have made it in for every month. I've gotten a little better at navigating that site, but not much.
Still have the 10k to do. Zoot when are you going to re-up RowPro
Nice job Felton & Tako!

Thanks! Starting to doubt I can improve it with the many 10k rows for the Mud season as going 110% might cause injuries.CamiCrew wrote:Nice job Felton & Tako!
