Rowing Atlantic, Partners Wanted

Post by m_katz »

Hi,

In 2017, a friend and I will be rowing the Atlantic with the Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge. We are looking for two enthusiastic and energetic people to crew with us.

Thanks,

Maddie

I've allowed this through as I know Andy Warner who achieved the crossing this year so I know it's a legit (and severely gruelling) event.

I would assume that you are looking for ladies to join your team?

Thank you! We are looking for two other partners, not necessarily women.

So cool that you're going for it, Maddie. Incredible journey. I was lucky to hear a personal account recently from one of the guys at Oar Northwest. (Might be worth a ping to their org as they might have leads of some kind for you.) Best wishes finding crewmates!

I followed the progress of these amazing women last year because they raise money for some of the same charities I support, and because they hail from the same part of the UK as I do.

Age - no problem.
Gender - absolutely no problem.
No experience - and your point is?

30 minutes of video, but worth a watch!
