We all know the Dan Burpee Row Pro extractor. You know that Greg and I have been playing with Python to reproduce those colorful graphs of Dan Burpee. In the meantime I have developed this a little further.
I will very soon have a web interface where you can upload your row files (CSV, TCX) and create those plots on-line. The interface can sync with the Concept 2 logbook so your rows will show up there and on the meterboard. The image files can be linked for including in blog or forum posts.
You can even import data from the C2 logbook and make plots, for example if you used ErgData.
Right now this lives and works on my computer and syncs with C2's sandbox test server. I will soon open to the public and will need some volunteers for debugging and testing the user interface. Send me a PM if you're interested.
Once everything is robust, I will ask C2 to allow me to post to the real logbook server.
It works with TCX (SpeedCoach, CrewNerd), ErgData, PainSled, RowPro ... And more ...
Will post some screenshots soon.

Re: Dan Burpee spreadsheet next generation
Sander I'd love to try it out, starting in last 2 weeks of May. I now have 3 types -- Speedcoach files, ErgData (beta) and RowPro files.
So far I've been unsuccessful getting the RP and Erg Data XLS versions to work, due to either having the wrong OS or wrong version of Excel. If there will be requirements such as specific platform or browser, would be good to know.
Sounds great. Thanks for your time put into it. And Greg's too.

There should be no browser requirements and I have even tested the prototype directly from the iPhone using Google drive. Will send you email as soon as I am ready.

As promised here are the screenshots. One disclaimer: I am not a graphics designer and the website layout you see is definitely not the final one. Just put the links on a grid in order to test the functionality.

Re: Dan Burpee spreadsheet next generation
The accessibility of http://rowsandall.com is a recurring issue with a few users. I am trying to work it out with my hosting provider (who claims it is a fault at the user's end) and my users (who claim it's a fault at my end).
There is an alternative URL which works, though: http://rowsandall-1072.rostiapp.cz/
Check out the site. It has been upgraded recently. Here are some of the features:
- Import data from Strava, SportTracks or Concept2 logbook, or upload CSV or TCX files from CrewNerd, RiM, SpeedCoach, RowPro, PainSled, ErgData, ErgStick
- Export data to Concept2 logbook, Strava, SportTracks
- Data Analysis:
- Interactive plots
- Static plots for incorporation in blog posts (distance plot, time plot, pie chart). More plots will be added.
- Compare workouts
- Wind/Stream corrections for OTW rowers
- (beta) Calculate "equivalent" erg score from OTW pace
- Smoothen out noisy GPS data
Registering for the site is free. The data export/import and most plotting routines are part of the free registration. The "advanced" features are available for 5 EURO per year.
